2013 Parish Life Conference in Louisville, Kentucky
June 19-23, 2013 – Diocese of Toledo and the Midwest At the Galt House Hotel
Mission — The purpose of the 2013 Parish Life Conference in Louisville is to bear witness to Christ and to uplift one another in the Faith. Our gathering is family-oriented and will be centered on faith, fellowship and the up-building of the Body of Christ.
Description — The 2013 Parish Life Conference, presided by His Grace Bishop ANTHONY, will take place in the great city of Louisville, named Lonely Planet’s top U.S. destination for 2013. The Galt House Hotel, in the heart of the city and on the banks of the Ohio River, will be our gathering spot. Here we will enjoy the fellowship of our fellow Orthodox Christians from throughout the Midwest and beyond, listen and learn from the Bible Bowl, Teen Oratorical, workshops and presentations, and lift up our hearts in worship through our daily services. It is also an opportunity to do the work of the Diocese with meetings of the Antiochian Women, Teen SOYO, Order of St. Ignatius, and the Fellowship of St. John the Divine. Bishop ANTHONY will be presiding throughout the conference culminating with the festive Pentecost Liturgy at St. Michael the Archangel Church on Sunday morning.

As you are thinking about what to wear to the PLC events, please be reminded that you will be in the presence of Bishop ANTHONY. At the banquet/hafli especially, we would encourage the ladies, including teens, to keep their shoulders covered and be mindful of their cleavage. We are not discouraging you from attending the events but rather being respectful to our Bishop. When In doubt, err on the side of modesty.
